
Anja Kelly is a soprano and music educator with experience singing and teaching a broad range of musical styles and genres. She performs frequently as both a soloist and a chorister throughout the Lower Mainland, and she runs choir programs in Elementary schools through Vancouver Extracurricular Music Society. She is also a founder and artistic director of Sproutsong, a non-profit society that curates high quality and low barrier performance opportunities for emerging artists.
Anja holds a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from the University of British Columbia, where she studied with acclaimed Hungarian-Canadian mezzo-soprano Krisztina Szabó.
Anja fosters connection and community in her studio to create a safe, joyful and welcoming environment where students are free to express themselves and build confidence in their singing, while learning good vocal technique and expanding their musical knowledge. She is incredibly excited to bring her love of music and singing to the students of WMA!
