Private Theory Lessons

Music theory lessons at World of Music & Arts will help prepare you for Royal Conservatory or Music exams required for all instruments before one can achieve their certificate of completion. Our instructors are very experienced with music theory lessons and can help prepare you to pass with flying colours! Group Theory Lessons are also offered for Fall Semester (Sept. – Dec.)

Group of 2 students: $40 per hour Mon, Wed, Fri choose your time:

Group of 3 students: $30 per hour Mon, Wed, Fri choose your time:
3pm-8pm
Group of 4 students and more: $20 per hour Mon, Wed, Fri choose your time:
3pm-8pm

Flexible course schedule. Course duration varies according to the individual needs of each student.

THEORY RUDIMENTS
:
Basic Rudiments (required for Grade 5 Practical subjects)
Intermediate Rudiments (required for Grade 6 Practical subjects)
Advanced Rudiments (required for Grade 7 and Grade 8 Practical subjects)

HISTORY:
History 1: An Overview (required for Grade 9 Practical subjects)
History 2: Middle Ages to Classical (required for Grade 10 Practical subjects)
History 3: Romantic to Modern (required for ARCT Practical subjects)

HARMONY:
Basic Harmony (required for Grade 9 Practical subjects)
Intermediate Harmony (required for Grade 10 Practical subjects)
Advanced Harmony (required for ARCT Practical subjects)

COUNTERPOINT and ANALYSIS:
Analysis & Counterpoint (required for ARCT Practical subjects)
