“WMA Hearts in Harmony” is a heartfelt concert series where children and youth come together to volunteer their musical talents for the benefit of seniors. Spanning five concerts, this initiative creates a beautiful synergy between the young and the elderly, showcasing the positive influence of music and the power of community service.
Participating students will receive a certificate of volunteering (1 hour) towards their high school program.
The young musicians, eager to share their passion, bring joy and entertainment to senior audiences through their performances. Each concert is a testament to the transformative power of music, lifting spirits and bridging generational gaps. The program not only provides seniors with delightful musical experiences but also fosters a sense of purpose and connection in the young performers.
By participating in “WMA Hearts in Harmony,” WMA children and youth learn the value of giving back to their community, developing empathy and understanding for the elderly. The series highlights the importance of community service, demonstrating how acts of kindness and shared experiences can create a harmonious and caring society.
