Bobby Chan graduated from the Capilano University majoring in classical guitar. Although his enthusiasm for music didn’t stop at that. Bobby's passion for World music led him to study with renowned percussionists, like Pepe Danza, Hari Pal and Kocassalé Dioubaté in order to further understand the music in Africa, Cuba, India and Middle East etc. Bobby had vast performing experiences in concert halls, as well as in less formal settings as a guitarist and a percussionist. At the moment Bobby combines his life long passion for guitar music with  music production. His future plans include releasing music albums, featuring Bobby's original compositions.

Over the years of teaching guitar and bass guitar, Bobby developed a method that helps beginners to learn guitar faster and smarter! "There is no need to study complicated music theory or read music! :)"

His teaching method will allow students who had no previous musical experience be able to play songs in their very first class! His students range from 8 to 76 years old and he works very well with kids and teenagers. He would like to share his knowledge and the joy of music with you!
