2011/2012 academic year calendar
There are 4 semesters at WMA: Fall (Sep.6/Dec.18), Winter (Jan.3/Mar.10), Spring (March 26/Jun.28) and Summer (optional).
The student will receive 38 regular lessons and participate in 2 dress rehearsals and 2 concerts.

| FALL TERM - 15 weeks Lessons begin September 6 (Tuesday) - Last lesson December 18 (Sunday) * Thanksgiving - Monday, October 10 * Remembrance Day - Friday, Novemeber 11 (By mutual agreement with the teacher individual lessons CAN BE HELD during the Statuary Holidays. If the student chooses not to attend the lesson it will be made up later) ~ Christmas Break December 19th (Tuesday) - January 2 (Sunday) |

| SPRING TERM - 13 weeks (Private music students - week 13 is reserved for make-up lessons and outstanding lessons) Lessons begin March 26 (Monday) - Last lesson June 28th (Thursday) * Good Friday - April 6th * Easter Monday - April 9th * Victoria Day - May 21st (By mutual agreement with the teacher individual lessons CAN BE HELD during the Statuary Holidays.
