Welcome to the exciting world of MUSICAL THEATRE!
Musical theatre is a form of theatre combining music, songs, spoken dialogue and dance. Our program is based on a practice sessions and performance, where students learn to sing and act their chosen Musical Theatre numbers from famous musicals such as Show Boat, Oklahoma!, West Side Story, The Fantasticks, Hair, A Chorus Line, Les Misérables, The Phantom of the Opera, Rent, The Producers and Wicked.
Class Format:
5 min. warm-ups : warm up your body, warm up your voice based on Stanislavsky system, or on other leading theatre methods.
10 min. "awareness" and/or "dramatic spontaneity" based on the roles from current selected Musical Theatre numbers.
45min. rehearsal for specific roles, including choreography and singing.
